ABOUT ABOUT

Tell Me A Story's monthly workshops are designed to dive deeper into what makes a good story for performance -- whether on stage, at work, or for fun. In addition to group discussion and brainstorming exercises, all participants will have the opportunity to get up in front of the class for one-on-one coaching with the workshop instructor.

August's workshop meets in two sessions over two consecutive Tuesday evenings. (Note: You must be able to attend both sessions.)

Session 1 is Tuesday, August 16th from 6pm to 8:30pm

Session 2 is Tuesday, August 23rd from 6pm to 8:30pm

The workshop will cover the essentials for telling a story based on a real life experience. Generate ideas for compelling content, develop your story idea into a 5-part structured narrative, and brainstorm ways to heighten the story and have fun telling it. Everyone will leave the workshop with a 5 minute story ready for its next audience.
