ABOUT ABOUT

Tell Me A Story's monthly workshops are designed to dive deeper into what makes a good story for performance -- whether on stage, at work, or for fun. In addition to group discussion and brainstorming exercises, all participants will have the opportunity to get up in front of the class for one-on-one coaching with the workshop instructor.

May's 201 Workshop will meet in one 2.5 hour session on:

Tuesday, May 10th from 6:00 pm to 8:30 pm

The workshop will cover the intermediate components for telling a story based on a real life experience. Create a set-up that will pull your audience into the action, find the truth in comedy within your story's circumstances, and experiment with your stage presence. Everyone will leave the workshop with a 5 minute story ready for its next audience.

Instructor: Hillary Rea (Founder of Tell Me A Story)
